Powis Castle & Gardens – a short drive away
Powis Castle sits in a spectacular setting and boasts one of the finest gardens in Britain.
Dating from as far back as the 1200s the castle has very interesting history and many fascinating stories to tell. As well as being a stunning medieval castle rising dramatically above the celebrated garden, It houses a large collection of paintings, tapestries and sculptures, plus the largest collection of its type in the UK of far eastern treasures within the Clive Museum. Well worth a visit!
